'Jose & Wally: The Movie' in the works

'Jose & Wally: The Movie' coming soon

After the phenomenal success of their first major concert held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum last week, Jose Manalo and Wally Bayola are set to bring their comic tandem on the big screen.

The film will reportedly be released under APT Films and will be produced by Tony Tuviera, the same person who made their concert possible.

Producers of their concert are also thinking of a Part 2 of the "Jose and Wally Show: A Party For Juan And All" last March 2.

"Hindi namin akalain na pagkakatiwalaan kami nang ganun katindi. Kaya sa lahat ng tiwalang ibinigay sa amin, maraming salamat po," said Jose in one of his TV interviews.

Wally, meanwhile, said it was overwhelming for him.
