Miriam Defensor Santiago to star in 'Boy Pick-up: The Movie'?

Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago may have a cameo role in "Boy Pick-up: The Movie."

To make the movie more exciting, the creators of the film are hoping that they could invite the feisty senator, who is starting to be known for her witty pick-up lines she adds in her public speeches, to star in the film.

"Pinagdadasal po natin na sana makuha natin sina Senator Miriam. Sana makuha natin 'yong ibang minimithi nating magcacameo kasi interesting na makita sila sa pelikula," said lead actor Ogie Alcasid.

The movie will be about the life of  the hilarious "Bubble Gang" character Boy Pick-up popularized Alcasid. It will also star Solenn Heussaff, Pepe Smith, Sam Pinto, Maey Bautista and Betong Sumaya.

The "Boy Pick Up" segment has gained a cult following of sorts since its inclusion to the gag show. It has also spawned a t-shirt line under the Francis Magalona Clothing Company as well as a soundtrack in the works.
