Isaac Lamb Creates World's First Live Lip-Dub Marriage Proposal (Video)

Isaac Lamb Marriage Proposal Video Screencap
Isaac Lamb made his marriage proposal to his girlfriend Amy Frankel extra special by gathering their family and friends for the world's first live lip-dub proposal.

They did a live lip-synced performance of Bruno Mars' song "Marry Me" which they recorded on video for the rest of the world to see.

"On Wednesday, May 23, I told my girlfriend, Amy, to meet me at my parents' house. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her on the back of a Honda CRV with some headphones on. He 'wanted to play her a song'… What she got, instead, was the world's first Live Lip-Dub Proposal," the introduction to Lamb's video reads.

The proposal did not only win the heart of Frankel who said "Yes!" later in the video, but as well the hearts of many people from all over the world (my Facebook friends included) who expressed how the video brought them to tears. The clip has been viewed almost a million times since it was posted on May 25 on Youtube and over a million on Vimeo, as of posting time.

Lacey Buchanan's Inspiring Video About Her Son With Tessier Cleft Goes Viral

Lacey Buchanan showing a photo of Christian (Youtube)
Lacey Buchanan's moving video about her son, who was born with an extremely rare condition that left him with no palate and eyes, has gone viral online.

In the video,  Buchanan holds up a series of flashcards describing her excitement about falling pregnant with her son, how she and her husband decided to keep the baby despite knowing from the doctors that their unborn child has developmental problems, and how she dealt with judgmental stares and whispers from people after seeing her kid.

Buchanan's son Christian, who is now 1-year-old, is suffering from a Tessier cleft, a rare and severe cleft palate that, aside from the mouth, can also affect different areas of the face - such as the nose, eyes and jaw. In Christian's case, the condition left him with no palate, prohibiting him from closing his mouth, and that his eyes are also clefted such that they never even formed.

"I couldn't go anywhere without someone doing something to point out Christian," Buchanan described. "Some people would even ask me, 'What's wrong with your son?'"

But as Christian grew older, he started to laugh and play, inspiring other people.

"When people would stare, Christian would start giggling, and they would giggle too," she stated.

As the video comes to a close,  Buchanan holds Christian into her chest as she kisses him and shows him off proudly.

Google Glasses To Change The Way We See (Video)

Google glasses unveiled (Photo: Google)
Google, Inc. has revealed its long-rumored "augmented reality" glasses that offer information triggered by the wearer's location or voice. Like smartphones, the Google glasses can snap photos, initiate videochats and display directions at the sound of a user's voice.

The glasses are part of the company's "Project Glass" born in its "secret lab" called Google [x].

In a post on Google+, the search giant explains that the project is nowhere complete and that they went public to gather outside feedback.

"A group of us from Google[x] started Project Glass to build this kind of technology, one that helps you explore and share your world, putting you back in the moment," Google wrote. We’re sharing this information now because we want to start a conversation and learn from your valuable input. So we took a few design photos to show what this technology could look like and created a video to demonstrate what it might enable you to do."

Here is the concept video of the Google glasses:

'Kony 2012 Part 2' released (Video)

"Kony 2012 Part 2," the sequel to Invisible Children's viral documentary "Kony 2012," has made its way online.

Unlike its predecessor, the new video has different approach, featuring voices of more people affected by Joseph Kony's group in central Africa.

"One month later, we are releasing this film to explain the creation of the campaign, the progress that's already been made and what we can all do now to put a stop to the violence of the LRA," says narrator Ben Keesey in the new clip posted on Youtube.

The video also urges viewers to pressure politicians and support military efforts to capture Joseph Kony before the year ends.

Google Self-Driving (Driverless) Car Takes Blind Man To Taco Bell

A Google Self-Driving Car is taking a legally blind man to Taco Bell on this video released by Google today. Google describes it as one of its favorite moments in its Self-Driving (Driverless) Car Project that started in 2010. Check it out the said video below:

Google added the following on the video description: "There’s much left to design and test, but we’ve now safely completed more than 200,000 miles of computer-led driving, gathering great experiences and an overwhelming number of enthusiastic supporters. We wanted to share one of our favorite moments from some special research we conducted. Watch this video of Steve, who joined us for a drive on a carefully programmed route to experience being behind the wheel in a whole new way. We organized this test as a technical experiment outside of our core research efforts, but we think it’s also a promising look at what this kind of technology may one day deliver for society if rigorous technical and safety standards can be met."

The Google Driverless (Self-Driving) Car  Project was announced by Google in 2010. It involves developing technology for driverless cars and aims to "make driving safer, more enjoyable and more efficient." The system uses information gathered from Google Street View and an artificial intelligence software that combines input from video cameras inside the car, a LIDAR sensor on top of the vehicle, radar sensors on the front of the vehicle and a position sensor attached to one of the rear wheels that helps locate the car's position on the map.

Google anticipates that the increased accuracy of its automated driving system could help reduce the number of traffic-related injuries and deaths, while using energy and space on roadways more efficiently.

'Kony 2012' by Invisible Children (Viral Video)

"Kony 2012," a documentary film, has gone viral online.

The 29-minute video is also a campaign that aims to raise awareness about Joseph Kony, a Ugandan guerrilla group leader, in an effort to expedite his arrest.

To quote the Invisible Children, organization behind the campaign: "Kony 2012 is a film and campaign by Invisible Children that aims to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for international justice."

Check out the said short film below:

Kony's group, the Lord's Resistance Army, has reportedly abducted more than 30,000 children in Uganda to fight for them and displaced over 2,000,000 people since its rebellion began in 1986.

Indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court, Kony has terrorized villagers in at least four countries in central Africa for nearly 20 years, killing tens of thousands of people, burning down huts and hacking off lips. He is also accused of brainwashing countless children across northern Uganda, turning the girls into se-x slaves and the boys into prepubescent killers.

Holly Rowe Elbows Aside Reporter Stealing Her Post-Sugar Bowl Interview (Video)

Holly Rowe gets physical for interview | ESPN video screen cap
ESPN's Holly Rowe wasn't going to let nothing, even a human being, to get between her and her interview with Michigan head coach Brady Hoke. When another unsuspecting female reporter – who has yet to be identified – got in her way, Rowe, as seasoned as she is, knew there was only one thing she could do - elbow the woman!

The incident happened following Tuesday night's Sugar Bowl game between Michigan and Virginia Tech, which was won by Michigan, 23-20. It was captured on ESPN's broadcast - video copies of it have also been posted online and getting some hits.

Apparently, sideline reporters learn incisive interview techniques including how to throw elbows and box out. But via her Twitter account, Rowe said the incident was "unintentional."

"Totally unintentional, didn't realize it even happened, post game can be free for all," Rowe tweeted.

Transcript:

More than 11 million Filipinos have left their families to find better opportunities abroad.

Joe Marie Ballon (X-Ray Technologist, Years away from home: 5):

"The most difficult part of working abroad is being far from family. I haven't been home for a long time because my father got sick. He's almost blind now. Instead of spending for the ticket home, I would rather send him money to buy medicine."

Leonie Villanueva (Caregiver, Years away from home: 9): "When winter comes, it's so difficult! Even when I'm sick, I would force myself to go to work. I can't go home, no matter how much I want to. I have bills to pay every month and all my children are depending on me."

Joey Doble (Babysitter, Years away from home: 11): "I can get very sad. I'm all alone here. I have not seen my youngest son. When I left, he was just 1 year old."

Check out Mo Twister's crying video as well as the transcript below:

(Posted as is)

"ITS 28TH OF JULY 2010, FIRST TIME IM DOING THIS. I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY. UM, MAYBE ONE DAY YOU'LL WATCH THIS. JUST TO REMEMBER HOW HORRIBLE OF A DAY IT IS. YOURE IN SINGAPORE, YOU'VE BEEN CRYING ALL EVENING BECAUSE TOMORROW MORNING, YOU AND RHIAN WILL GO TO THE HOSPITAL HERE AND GET RID OUR BABY. IT DOESN'T MATTER NAMAN WHAT I THINK ABOUT IT BECAUSE THIS WAS HER CHOICE. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YOU'LL KEEP THIS AS A SOUVENIR, BUT THIS IS THE TEST. (WHISPER) THIS IS WRONG. THIS IS THE HARDEST THING (CRYING) THIS IS THE HARDEST THING YOU'VE GONE THROUGH BEFORE AND YOU'VE GONE THROUGH SO MUCH. AND WE HAVE TO BLAME OUR JOBS FOR THIS? THIS INDUSTRY THAT JUDGES YOU FOR THESE THINGS. THIS BUSINESS HAS MADE HER BELIEVE THAT WE HAVE TO TAKE THE LIFE OF OUR OWN CHILD BECAUSE NO ONE WILL FORGIVE HER FOR THIS. THAT THIS JOB WILL RUIN HER, SO WE AGREED THAT WE'D COME HERE AND GET IT DONE. BECAUSE YOU LOVE HER AND YOU JUST WANT HER TO BE OKAY. ITS NOT LIKE RHIAN IS HAVING AN EASY TIME WITH THIS TOO. ITS HARD ON ALL OF US. SHE SAID ONE DAY WE WILL SEE THIS AGAIN. AND MAYBE OUR JOBS WILL BE A LITTLE BIT EASIER AND MORE ACCEPTING ABOUT IT. ONE DAY YOU'LL LOOK AT THIS VIDEO, 20 YEARS FROM NOW, I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF YOU WILL STILL BE TOGETHER AND IT WILL STILL HURT. IT WILL STILL HURT LIKE HELL. (CRYING). YOU'LL BE SORRY FOR THIS YOUR WHOLE LIFE. I'LL BE SORRY FOR THIS MY WHOLE LIFE. IM SORRY FOR THE BAD CHOICE WE ARE ABOUT TO MAKE. ITS HARD FOR BOTH OF US. NOBODY WANTS TO DO THIS. I KNOW OTHER CELEBRITIES HAVE BEEN ABLE TO SUCCEED AFTER THIS PROBLEM, IF IT IS EVEN A PROBLEM, I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S A PROBLEM. BUT YOU KNOW, HER PARENTS ARE TOUGH ON HER. HER STATION, HER CHANNEL, HER MANAGER IS SO TOUGH ON HER THAT IT HAS MADE HER FEEL THAT HAVING THIS BABY, IS JUST NO OTHER OPTION. I KNOW RHIAN IS YOUNG. MAYBE ONE DAY WHEN WE'RE OLDER, WHEN SHE IS OLDER, THAT WE WONT HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS. I DON'T BLAME HER. THE PRESSURE ON HER IS SO GREAT. THAT I KNOW SHE FEELS LIKE SHE HAS NO CHOICE. SO THIS IS NOT YOUR FAULT RHIAN. ITS NOT. I KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO BE YOU IN HERE, IN THIS SITUATION. ITS JULY 28, 2010 AND IM SITTING INSIDE THE HOTEL. THE RITZ-CALRTON IS SINGAPORE AND WE'VE BEEN FIGHTING ALL NIGHT ABOUT THIS. IM DOING MY BEST TO TRY TO KEEP YOU SAFE. AND ALL THIS FIGHTING IS TAKING A TOLL ON US. I WISH WE COULD HAVE THIS CHILD. I DON'T WANT TO DO THIS. THIS JOB IS SO DIFFICULT. ITS SO DIFFICULT. IM SO SORRY. I'LL BE SORRY FOREVER. AGAIN, ONE DAY YOU'LL WATCH THIS. MAYBE WHEN YOURE AN OLD MAN. YOU'LL REMEMBER HOW DIFFICULT TODAY WAS. AND I HOPE YOU WATCH THIS AND I HOPE BY THAT TIME I'LL BE MARRIED AND I'LL HAVE A FAMILY THAT I CAN TRY TO MAKE IT UP TO. YOURE GOING TO DO SOMETHING REALLY WRONG TODAY. IM SORRY FOR THAT. THIS IS BUSINESS IS SO SO HARD. THIS BUSINESS IS SO HARD ON ITS EMPLOYEES. I GUESS ALL BUSINESSES ARE. I DON'T KNOW. ITS OUR FAULT I KNOW. WE CANT REALLY BLAME OUR JOBS BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE DID IT. BUT UM, I UNDERSTAND."
