2NE1 is back in the Philippines!

The popular Korean girl group is not in the country to perform but is here for some rest and relaxation which they chose to spend in Albay.

2NE1 members Dara, CL, Bom and Minzy, who arrived in the Philippines Wednesday, are reportedly staying at the Misibis Bay Resort in Cagraray Island, Bacacay, Albay.

In her past interview, Dara, better known by many Pinoys as Sandara Park or Sandy, revealed that she has been trying to persuade her group members to visit her second home, the Philippines, again.

Before joining 2NE1, Dara became popular in the Philippines for her successful stint on ABS-CBN's "Star Circle Quest."

After this visit in the country, the South Korean pop and hip-hop group will be getting ready for some promotional activities in Japan.

Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho, stars of Koreanovela "City Hunter" which airs on ABS-CBN, have called it quits, according to Park's agency.

The agency revealed that although the couple have broken up for a while now, the South Korean actress did not make public their split because "it was embarrassing to directly reveal that they broke up and she had to consider the agency’s position."

"They became strangers before the 2011 Acting Awards. With this reason, Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho had attended two different award ceremonies… Lee Min Ho went to SBS Acting Awards, while Park Min Young had went to the KBS Acting Awards," the agency said.

The actress' agency added that the main reason for the break-up was the celebrities' busy schedules.

"Park Min Young had to film for KBS‘s ‘Man of Honor‘, she did not have time to rest for a while. Lee Min Ho also had to film for his advertisements and attend his oversea activities, and we know that he is very busy… The two could not meet often and naturally broke up," the Park Min Young's camp explained.

Lee's managers, meanwhile, claimed they have no idea Lee had called it quits with his co-star.

"If they had split up, Lee Min Ho would have told us," said a spokesperson from Lee's management agency.

Park Min Young, 25, and Lee Min Ho, 24, started dating last year.

South Korean pop group BEAST is returning to the Philippines this year! This is according to KoreanUpdates which revealed recently that the Philippines is part of the boyband's "Beautiful Show 2012 World Tour".

According to the website, the said concert tour will kick off this February 4th in Seoul, Korea and will have stops in the following countries: Canada (2 cities), England (London), Germany (Berlin), Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan (5 cities), Philippines, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, Taiwan, and USA (3 cities).

There has been no official announcement from the major concert producers in the country as of posting time.

If more details come out soon, they will be posted here (hence the title of this post).

Composed of Yoon Doo-joon, Jang Hyun-seung, Yong Jun-hyung, Yang Yo-seob, Lee Gi-kwang and Son Dong-woon, BEAST had staged a concert in Manila back in 2010 together with "Boys Over Flowers" star Kim Hyun Joong.

2PM, one of the most popular Korean-pop groups, is set to invade Manila, Philippines this November! The boy band will be performing live in a concert which exact date and venue are still being planned.

Via his Twitter account, TV personality Tim Yap broke the news about the said 2PM Live in Manila Concert 2011.

"Confirmed :Superstar Kpop group 2PM coming to Manila this November! Producers finalizing the venue as we tweet," Yap tweeted.

Originally a 7-man band, 2PM is now composed of six members namely Junsu, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho and Chansung. Lead vocalist Jaebeom (a.k.a Jay Park) was ousted from the group in 2009 after an internet controversy - unfavorable comments towards Korea were found on his Myspace account which caused outrage, prompting an early termination of his contract.

2PM's concert in South Korea last year also went controversial following allegations that it contained sexually suggestive acts in violation of country's laws.

The group recently released their second studio album titled second studio album entitled "Hands Up."

Kim Hyun Joong arrives in Manila (Photo)

Kim Hyun Joong, Korean-pop group SS501's leader, has arrived in Manila around noontime Thursday. The singer's visit is part of his "Break Down" album tour. He will be at Trinoma Mall for the “Hi-Five Touch” event at 6 p.m later (August 25, 2011).

It is the second time for Kim Hyun Joong to be in the country. He was here last year for a concert at the Araneta Coliseum with BEAST.



Kim Hyun Joong is best known by his Noypi fans for his roles in hit drama series "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009 and "Playful Kiss" in 2010 which were both dubbed in Tagalog and shown on local TV.



He is a member of all-male K-pop group SS501. He recently kicked off his solo career through his first 6-track solo album "Break Down" last June.

Super Junior's 'Mr. Simple' music video out!

After much anticipation from fans, Korean-pop all-male group Superjunior has finally released the music video of their newest single "Mr. Simple."



"Mr. Simple" is the lead track of Super Junior's fifth album with same title released on August 3, 2011.

With this new album, Super Junior will be making their comeback on KBS’s ‘Music Bank‘ on August 5th. They will also have their album press conference on August 4th.

During the past days, a couple of "Mr. Simple" music video teasers came out , even before the song was released. And just NOW, the full version of the song has been made available online and is now ready for download (not for free, though).
