The British singer, who popularized the songs "You Give Me Something,"  "You Make It Real," and "Broken Strings," has sold 4.5 million copies of his three critically acclaimed records and scored a Brit award for Best Male Artist following his debut in 2007. As of posting time, other details about the Owl City Live In Manila 2012 concert are not yet avaiable but they will be posted here once official announcements from local producers come out.

It would be Owl City's second concert in Manila. The first was on March 14, 2010 which was held at the SMX Convention Center.

Owl City is an American electronica musical project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young formed in 2007 in Owatonna, Minnesota. After two independent releases, the band gained mainstream popularity with the 2009 major label debut album Ocean Eyes, which included the quadruple-platinum hit single "Fireflies."

Jessica Sanchez will reportedly have a solo concert tour this year, which will have stops in 5 Philippine cities.

Citing a source, The Philippine Daily Inquirer reported Tuesday that Jessica Sanchez's Philippine tour will be staged in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Bataa, the hometown of the singer's mom. The said solo concert tour will kick off in October, it said.

The Inquirer report added that another show to be held at the Newport Performing Arts Theater of Resorts World Manila is still under negotiation.

The 16-year-old "American Idol" runner-up is currently preparing for the "American Idol Live Tour 2012," a concert tour featuring the finalists of the 11th season of the hit U.S. TV talent search. The tour, which will start on July 6, will have legs in several states in the U.S., Canada, Holland, Belgium, France and the Philippines. The Philippine leg is set to take place on September 21, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Featuring the Top 10 contestants of the eleventh season of "American Idol," the concert will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on September 21, 2012.

Yes, Phillip Phillips, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Hollie Cavanagh, Skylar Laine, Elise Testone, Colton Dixon, DeAndre Brackensick, Heejun Han and Erika Van Pelt are all flying to the Philippines soon for a concert and possibly, like last year, some meet-and-greet events in malls.

The concerts of Michelle Branch and Jojo in Manila and Cebu have been postponed.

Branch posted on Twitter that she was set to fly to the Philippines today but the promoters of their shows in the country decided to postpone their flight due to bad weather.

"Filipino fans! Due to weather, the show @jojoistheway and I were putting on has been postponed. More news to follow. Rescheduling right now," the songstress tweeted.

"It wasn't our choice. I was packed and ready to leave today but the promoter cancelled our flights," she said in another tweet.

Concert producer N91Live also confirmed the postponement of the concert on their Facebook page:

"Due to weather conditions we've decided to postpone @michellebranch and @JoJoistheway trip and shows. All purchased tickets including Meet & Greet passes will be honored at the new date. The planned Promo Tour & Concert venues remains unchanged. New date will be announced w/in 48 hrs. Thank You!" N91Live wrote.

Michelle Branch and Jojo were scheduled to stage their Manila concert on June 7 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. They were to guest in radio and mall shows, too, before the concert. But apparently all these have been postponed.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Ambo has not left the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It was last spotted at 430 km East Northeast of Aparri, Cagayan, per 11 pm, June 3 bulletin from PAGASA.

The concert is part of the Northern Irish alternative rock group's Fallen Empires world tour which kicked off last January.,

Despite protests from religious groups, the first of the two Lady Gaga's Born This Way Ball concerts in Manila pushed through on Monday. Gaga also performed her controversial song "Judas," which is being alleged by some as "blasphemous."

Gaga, however, turned emotional during the concert and made the following statement:

"I’m not an alien, I’m not a woman, I’m not a man, and I’m not a creature of your government, Manila. I’m all your dreams and I’m all your potential. Let me be all your insecurities and your fears. I’m your future, I’m everything that makes you sad and angry. I’m you, little monsters. Tonight’s not a statement, tonight’s us coming together because we believe we were all born this way. Some people say I stand for things that are bad. The truth is, I want the best for every single one of you. My life is like one whole performance of liberation. All of those kids all around the world who take their lives when they’re so young because they feel bullied, or they’re afraid because they’re gay and don’t want to tell anybody. Meanwhile, Gaga's second concert is as well pushing through at the newly-opened SM Mall of Asia Arena, tonight since last night’s show reportedly did not violate any laws.

Among Gaga's audience last night were censors who were there to monitor possible violations of law against supposedly "immoral doctrines, obscene publications and exhibitions and indecent shows."

The producers of  Jennifer Lopez' upcoming Manila concert are hoping that they could persuade Jessica Sanchez to open for JLo.

Jun Lorenz Mamangon, CEO of N91 Live productions, said that there is a high possibility that this happens as his wife stood as Jessica's vocal coach back in 2000.

He added that the Jennifer Lopez Live In Manila 2012 concert is "practically a go" this November 24th and they have yet to decide where the venue will be.

Joe Jonas of The Jonas Brothers will be arriving in the Philippines next week for a series of shows at Ayala malls.

Joe Jonas will kick off his shows at Trinoma and Greenbelt on May 25, at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., respectively. He will then be at Alabang Town Center at 7 p.m. the next day and at Ayala Center Cebu on May 27. at 3:00 p.m.

The Jonas Brothers, composed of Joe and his brothers Nick and Kevin, made their acting debut in season 2 of the hit Disney Channel Original Series, "Hannah Montana." They then starred in their own show in Disney Channel entitled, "Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream" and in Disney movie "Camp Rock" and its sequel "Camp Rock 2." The group has also released four studio albums in total.

The band's lead vocalist, Joe Jonas also handles keyboard, guitar, and percussion.

Just moments ago, concert producer N91Live hinted about the concert on Twitter with a tweet that says, "Did you know @N91Live brought Sexy Back - back to MLA and they're going to be Everywhere June 7th and about to make you Dance Again in Nov?"

Of course we all know that "Dance Again" is one of J.Lo's latest hits. The music icon has also recently announced the dates of her concert tour with Filipino-Spanish singer Enrique Iglesias in North America, suggesting that the report has basis. But N91Live did not include any clue about Enrique, though.

N91Live is responsible for bringing "Sexy Back" singer Justin Timberlake to Manila in 2010 (he was with Timbaland and Jojo then) and for the upcoming back-to-back concerts of recording artists Jojo and Michelle Branch (who popularized the song "Everywhere") in Manila and Cebu this June.

"Jojo knows how much her Filipino fans love "Hit Songs".. So she's preparing a special acoustic line up for these shows, she'll be singing her rendition of cover songs popularized by Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Adele', Aliyah, Beyonce and more!" N91Live said in a Facebook post.

Mother Monster Lady Gaga is coming back to Manila this 2012!

According to a tweet by eventologist and TV personality Tim Yap, Lady Gaga will be at the SM Arena on May 21, 2012.

"Breaking news: @LadyGaga coming to Manila on May 21, 2012 at the SM Arena!" Yap tweeted.

Update: The concert has been confirmed by Gaga's camp. According to a report, ticket prices are as follows:  P15,000  11,000  5,000  2,000. Call 470 2222 for ticket info. 

This means that Gaga's forthcoming concert will be the first international act to be staged at the newly-constructed SM Mall of Asia Arena which is yet to have its grand opening on May 19.

The Arena’s 64,085 square meter floor area houses 20,000 full seating capacity. The indoor arena aims to become one of Asia’s premier entertainment destinations that will cater to both entertainment and sports events for local and international talents.
