Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho split

Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho, stars of Koreanovela "City Hunter" which airs on ABS-CBN, have called it quits, according to Park's agency.

The agency revealed that although the couple have broken up for a while now, the South Korean actress did not make public their split because "it was embarrassing to directly reveal that they broke up and she had to consider the agency’s position."

"They became strangers before the 2011 Acting Awards. With this reason, Park Min Young and Lee Min Ho had attended two different award ceremonies… Lee Min Ho went to SBS Acting Awards, while Park Min Young had went to the KBS Acting Awards," the agency said.

The actress' agency added that the main reason for the break-up was the celebrities' busy schedules.

"Park Min Young had to film for KBS‘s ‘Man of Honor‘, she did not have time to rest for a while. Lee Min Ho also had to film for his advertisements and attend his oversea activities, and we know that he is very busy… The two could not meet often and naturally broke up," the Park Min Young's camp explained.

Lee's managers, meanwhile, claimed they have no idea Lee had called it quits with his co-star.

"If they had split up, Lee Min Ho would have told us," said a spokesperson from Lee's management agency.

Park Min Young, 25, and Lee Min Ho, 24, started dating last year.
