Adele Pregnant: Singer 'Over The Moon' About Pregnancy

Adele Pregnant
Adele is pregnant!

Adele announced the good news on her website on Friday, saying she and her boyfriend are 'over the moon' about her first pregnancy.

"Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together." Adele wrote. "I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time."

The 24-year-old British songstress met Simon Konecki, who's around 36, last summer in England but Adele first addressed their relationship in January 2012 writing: "Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa."

Konecki is a former financier who co-founded U.K. bottled water company Life Water. He also heads the company's charity, Drop4Drop, which brings clean water to developing countries.  He already has a 5-year-old daughter with ex-wife Clary Fisher.

Adele flashes middle finger at Brit Awards

Adele throws raising her middle finger | Photo: ITV
Adele showed her middle finger after her second acceptance speech was cut off by host James Corden at the 2012 Brit Awards on Tuesday.

The songstress later stressed that it was for industry leaders, not her fans.

"I'm sorry if I offended anyone but it was the suits that offended me," Adele said. "Thank you all very much and thanks to my fans. I don't want them to think I was swearing at them."

ITV, the show's broadcaster, has issued a statement apologizing to the singer for cutting her off.

"We regret this happened and we send deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short tonight due to the live show over-running," ITV said.

Fake Adele's 'Set Fire To The Rain' Music Video Hits Online

A fake music video of Adele's single "Set Fire To The Rain" has made its way online.
Adele look-alike Michelle Meredith featured on the fake "Set Fire To The Rain" music video
Aspiring director Andrew Vallentine released the nicely choreographed video which shows an Adele look-alike lip-syncing the song which made some fans think it's the real deal. The video was posted on Youtube Monday, December 5, 2011.

"Often touted as Adele's 'gay anthem', Set Fire to the Rain is the latest single off her smash-hit album, 21. The music video portrays a man struggling with his sexuality, while the girl in love with him fights to hold on as everything she thought she knew comes crashing down before her. The song speaks of a foolish love that's so hard to let go. This theme is not uncommon, most of us have been subjected to this type of unrequited love in some way, shape, or form. Whether gay or straight, single or taken, if you have not experienced this kind of pain, consider yourself one of the lucky ones." the video description reads.
