This song is on my September Mix (which has a “look of love” theme, & although it has never gone out of my listening rotation, I feel like I am falling in love with it all over again. Every time I play the current mix, the other listeners will become completely engaged by this tune, singing & dancing along, & making a comment about how cool a song it is. That is what makes a song timeless. It is difficult to believe that ABC’s The Look Of Love is 27 years old. ABC continues to record & tour. The lead singer & songwriter is Martin Fry. The Look Of Love sends me back to a favorite era, but I would love it if it had been released in the summer of 2009. The original video is fun, but I am offering Martin Fry doing a live version:
