Bananas Are My Favorite Because They Have Appeal

I am going BANANAS!

According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood & generally make you feel happier.

Bananas can help SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.

"Yes, we have no bananas
We have-a no bananas today.
We've string beans, and onions
Cabbages, and scallions,
& all sorts of fruit & say
We have an old fashioned to-mah-to
A Long Island po-tah-to
But yes, we have no bananas.
We have no bananas today."
