Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner might be getting back together.

Despite their reported break-up last month, Avril and Brody were spotted dining out together in Los Angeles on Monday.

Citing a source, E! News reported that the exes are open to getting back together, which may happen after Avril's concert tour dates in Japan.

Another source stated that Avril is just "the kind of girl who stays in touch with her exes."

Celebrity gossip magazine Life & Style reported in January that Avril, 27, and Brody, 26, have called it quits after nearly two years together.

"It wasn't working out and they wanted to go their separate ways." the report said.

However, the said report has not been confirmed by the pair.

The "Complicated" singer has been married before to Sum 41 lead vocalist Deryck Whibley, whom she wed in July 2006.

She started dating the former "Hills" hunk shortly after filing for divorce in 2009.

Avril Lavigne and boyfriend Brody Jenner were involved in a fight outside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in the early hours on Sunday, several news sites reported.

According to Lavigne's Twitter post, she sustained "a black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts" from the incident.

Former "The Hills" star Jenner also tweeted about the fight saying, "Interesting Saturday night... Just got of the hospital with a new scar on my face.. Charges/chargers!!!"

According to TMZ.com, the police wrote on their report that Brody was a victim of an "assault with a deadly weapon".

Lavigne clarified that the brawl was completely unprovoked and that she was randomly attacked.

"I don't fight. I don't believe in it. To clear things up I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f---ed." Lavigne tweeted.

It was unclear who the assailants were, or whether police had any leads.

"Damn, damn, damn, what I'd do to have you here," the punk rock chic wails as the camera closes in on her while soaking wet in a bathtub,  crying about a dozen layers of mascara off.

Via Twitter, Avril said the tears were authentic and it did not need her onions to make herself cry.

“The tears are real . . . no onions!!” she tweeted.

Avril Lavigne's "Wish You Were Here" is part of her newest studio album "Goodbye Lullaby." The release of its MV marks the third video from the said album, following productions for her “What the Hell” and “Smile“ singles.

Avril is currently on her Black Star tour, promoting her album around the globe.
