On This Day In Gay History

8 years ago, on this day- May 17th, Same-Sex Marriage became legal in Massachusetts, the first state to do so.

Society has not crumbled, no one has married their horse, children are not confused about gender, marriage, as an institution, has not been broken & mocked, no minister or priest has been jailed for refusing to perform a ceremony, men & women continue to use separate public bathrooms, no one is teaching children sexual techniques in sex ed classes, the terrorists did not win.

This is what could happen if we allow people of the same sex to marry.
