Heath Ledger's Tree House has been purchased by "The Hunger Games" star Josh Hutcherson.

Ledger's Hollywood Hills house, named "The Tree House" because of its surrounding dense foliage, was reportedly put on the market last year for nearly $3 million. It is, however, not clear whether Hutcherson paid the whole amount.

The late Australian actor shared the house with his former partner, three-time Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams, after buying it from comedienne and TV host Ellen DeGeneres back in 2005.

The 1,861 sq. ft. pad was bought by a private person after Ledger's death in 2008.

Built in 1951, the unique house has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a modern kitchen, an office, soaring beamed ceilings, huge windows, concrete slab flooring, a covered porch and lots of room for entertaining outdoors.

Meanwhile, 19-year-old Hutcherson has been taking a break after undergoing surgery to fix a broken nose recently.
