The ice cream company has introduced its "Euphori-Lock," a combination lock that keeps your favorite pint of ice cream from being eaten by unauthorized ice cream thieves.
Katie O’Brien of Ben & Jerry’s merchandising department, the brains behind the "Euphori-Lock," said that the idea came from a customer's suggestion that they should sell their ice cream in stainless steel containers with little padlocks on them.
"The Euphori-Lock is a tenacious two-part plastic security ring that slips around your pint’s upper lid for “udder” peace of mind. And not to worry - it comes complete with an easy-to-remember secret code when you’re ready to unlock your favorite treat!" Ben & Jerry’s posted on its website.
The ice cream lock can be bought from local Scoop Shop stores and at the Ben & Jerry’s online store for $6.64 a piece.
