During my recent convalescence, I was able to accomplish some major TV watching. I caught up on favorite shows that had been DVR-ed, caught some Ellen, & took a chance on most anything on LOGO or HGTV. But what is more fun that channel surfing? The other afternoon, the roulette wheel of the channel remote brought me to The Age Of Innocence, which is my favorite Scorsese flick. This film really haunts me. The stars had real chemistry. Daniel Day Lewis & Michele Pfeiffer are 2 of my favorite film actors… I love him & I would switch for her.

They are peerless actors, consummate professionals, & they are perfect examples of how to look when you are in your 50s. Today is their shared birthday. Day Lewis turns 53 & Ms. Pfeiffer becomes a ravishingly beautiful 52.
