Kim Chiu, Xian Lim Fans Win In 2012 OMG Awards

The fans of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim did not only allow their idols to reap awards in this year's edition of the Yahoo! OMG! Awards, they also took home one for themselves.

During the star-studded awarding ceremony held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Friday night, July 6, 2012, the KimXi fans club was named the Fan Club of the Year, beating out Chaster (Charice's), Ashrald (Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson's) DongYan (Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera's) and JulieElmo (Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalonas) in the category.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim also received the Breakthrough Actress and Actor of the Year, respectively. They also bagged the Love Team of the Year award.

The winners of the Awards were determined based on the results of an online voting which started on June 4 and concluded June 28. According to Yahoo! Philippines, they received a total of over four million votes this year.

My Binondo Girl stars to test love team on the big screen

My Binondo Girl stars Xian Lim and Kim Chiu*

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, stars of "My Binondo Girl," are set to bring their love team to the silver screen.

The Kim Chiu-Xian Lim movie was revealed when Xian signed a two-year three-picture contract with Star Cinema, recently. The first of the three movies is "My Cactus Heart" with Maja Salvador and Matteo Guidicelli that is to be released this month. The second one will reportedly be the Kim-Xian film. However, there are no reports yet on what the movie will be about and when it will be made. Xian's third movie with Star Cinema will be "Reunion," a tentative title and there are no other details about it as well.

Kim and Xian's pair-up on "My Binondo Girl" was well-received by viewers. Even Kim's ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson said he is a big fan of the new love team.

"My Binondo Girl," a primetime teleserye on ABS-CBN, aired its finale last Friday, making fans of the phenomenal love team more excited of their new project.

Kim Chiu and Xian Lim, the phenomenal love team from "My Binondo Girl", are together on the cover of StarStudio Magazine's "love" issue.

"She's never looked so happy. He's smitten and it shows. They have closeness that can be denied. Get the lowdown on why they're so good together - on and off screen," StarStudio wrote on the cover.

Kim and Xian are set to bring their love team in the big screen. It was announced when Xian signed a two-year contract with Star Cinema recently but there are no details about the movie yet.
