'Kuratong Baleleng' Movie Trailer Starring Robin And Daniel Padilla

Watch a sneak preview of the upcoming action movie with working title "Kuratong Baleleng" starring Robin Padilla and his nephew Daniel Padilla.
The movie is reportedly about Octavio "Onkoy" Parojinog, a legendary hero in Ozamiz City and the founder of the original "Kuratong Baleleng" group established by the Philippine military in 1986 to guard against the spread of communist guerrillas in the city and nearby areas.

Directed by Jon Spongky Villarin, the film also stars Anne Curtis, Mariel Rodriguez-Padilla, Rommel Padilla, Baron Geisler,  Ian Veneracion and Daniel Padilla's brothers Ralph Matthew and RJ.

A specific release date has not been announced.

It is apparently because "Princess and I" star Daniel Padilla appeared on ABS-CBN's latenight news show, "Bandila" earlier tonight. The teen heartthrob was interviewed by host Boy Abunda during the latter's "Ikaw Na" segment.

During his interview, Padilla sang some of the tracks from his first studio album including "Princesa," "Grow Old With You," and "Ako'y Iyo Ika'y Akin Lamang" which according to the young actor are dedicated to his onscreen leading lady Kathryn Bernardo.

Daniel Padilla, 16, is the son of actor Rommel Padilla (brother of Robin) and actress Karla Estrada.

Daniel Padilla records first digital single

Daniel Padilla is set to release his first digital single.

According to a tweet by Nina Ferrer, Daniel Padilla recorded Saturday the single which will be released under Star Records. The title of the song as well as other details about it have not been revealed.

Daniel Padilla, who is quite popular among Noypi tweens, is actually a member of the band called Parking 5. He also sings during mall shows.

During his recent appearance on "Gandang Gabi Vice," Daniel, fondly called Batman by his fans, serenaded the audience with Rivermaya's "Hinahanap Hanap Kita."

Daniel, who is turning 17 this month, is the son of actor Rommel Padilla (brother of Robin) and former actress Karla Estrada. He starred in ABS-CBN's youth-oriented show "Growing Up" and is part of the cast of the upcoming Kapamilya series "Princess and I."

In "Growing Up," Kathryn Bernardo plays the role of boyish Ella who is constantly being annoyed by bad boy hearthtrob Patrick (Daniel Padilla). As the way I see things, Ella and Patrick will soon find out they have special feelings for each other.

"Growing Up" premiered on September 4, 2011 on ABS-CBN and is being aired every Sunday after "ASAP Rocks".

Daniel Padilla (born Daniel John Ford Padilla) is a teen actor currently seen on "Growing Up", a youth-oriented series on ABS-CBN. Born on April 26, 1995, Daniel Padilla is the son of actor Rommel Padilla (brother of Robin) and former actress Karla Estrada.

The 16 year-old replaced his friend Albie Casino in "Growing Up", taking the role of Patrick - a bad boy heartthrob. Daniel said he and Albie are still friends and that Albie is showing his support for him. "Growing Up'" airs Sundays on ABS-CBN.

In his interview with PEP.ph, Daniel expressed being pressured having celebrity parents.

"Mommy ko singer at actress po. Dad ko po, actor rin po. Yung expectation po sa amin mataas." Daniel said.

Daniel had also told the Press that it was always his dream to be star.

"Bata pa lang ako gusto ko na talagang mag-showbiz. Gusto kong i-try yung ginagawa ni Mama and Papa."

Daniel Padilla was also part of the cast of now defunct ABS-CBN show "Gimik 2010." He is a member of a band named Parking 5.
