Suspension of Classes June 18 2012

Classes were suspended in some schools in Metro Manila due to heavy rains and flooded roads on Monday, June 18, 2012.

Among the local government units that announced suspension of classes were the following:

---Navotas (pre-school to college)
---Marikina (pre-school to high school)
---Malabon City (pre-school to high school)
---San Mateo, Rizal (pre-school to high school)
---Rodriguez, Rizal (pre-school to high school)
---Obando, Bulacan (pre-school to high school).
---Guagua, Pampanga (pre-school to elementary)

The following schools also declared class suspension:
---Academia de San Gabriel of Valenzuela (pre-school)
---Alphabet House Creative Learning Center (pre-school)
---Grace Children's Development Center in Caloocan (pre-school)
---Mary and Child Valenzuela Learning Center (pre-school)

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said that rains are expected to persist in Metro Manila throughout the day.
