Halestorm, ‘Love Bites (So Do I)’

Halestorm made history with the single ‘Love Bites (So Do I),’ as the song was the first ever by a female-fronted band to top the Active Rock singles chart. The tune is the lead single from Halestorm‘s new album ‘The Strange Case Of…’

The mix of punk, thrash and pop mesh together perfectly in ‘Love Bites,’ while singer Lzzy Hale’s voice is out of this world as she delivers the lyrics with equal parts charm and venom.


Foo Fighters, 'Bridge Burning'

Right out of the gate, the song ‘Bridge Burning’ goes from a tingling light guitar riff to some mauling percussion and crunchy riffs that scream Foo Fighters.

The tune is the band’s latest single off of their very successful 2011 album ‘Wasting Light,’ and features frontman Dave Grohl mixing lullaby-like vocals with a bellowing yell.

Soundgarden, ‘Live To Rise’

After 15 long years, Soundgarden have finally released a new song, ‘Live To Rise,’ and it does not disappoint.

The tune, which is featured on the companion CD to this year’s blockbuster film ‘The Avengers,’ proves that Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell’s voice is as hauntingly mesmerizing as ever. Look for a new Soundgarden album later this year.


FOR MY LOVE and Wes in PE - Chevelle, 'Hats off to the Bull'

The title track and latest single off Chevelle’s 2011 album ‘Hats Off to the Bull’ starts off soft and keeps elevating.

Frontman Pete Loeffler’s trembling melodic vocals paired with his sudden shrieks make for one hell of an anthem.
The addition of  some heavy guitar riffs and groovy drum patterns make this tune a powerful follow-up to the No. 1 hit ‘Face to the Floor.’

Tremonti, ‘You Waste Your Time’

Alter Bridge / Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti recently announced his solo project Tremonti, and he’s already making waves with his first single.

The tune, ‘You Waste Your Time,’ is filled with crashing cymbals, deep bass lines, face melting guitar riffs and harmonious vocals. Look for Tremonti’s debut disc, ‘All I Was,’ on July 17
