Storm Signal No. 2 has been raised over Cagayan, Calayan & Babuyan Grp. of Islands, Isabela, Batanes Grp. of Islands, Apayao, Kalinga, Ilocos Norte, Abra &and Mt. Province.
Meanwhile, the following areas remain under Signal No. 1: La Union, Ilocos Sur, Aurora, Ifugao, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino and Benguet.
The rainfall amount within the 400 km diameter of Bagyong Dindo is estimated from 15 - 25 mm per hour, which is "heavy - intense."
Bagyong Dindo is expected to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring rains over Southern Luzon and Visayas, especially the western section, which may trigger landslides and flashfloods and possible occurrence of storm surge over the coastal areas under Signal No. 2.
The PAGASA advises fishing boats and other small seacrafts not to venture out into the Seaboards of Central and Southern Luzon and Western Visayas due to the combined effect of Bagyong Dindo and the Southwest Monsoon.
