Alexander Skarsgård to be the new face of Calvin Klein perfume

Fangtastic news everyone, Alexander Skarsgård will be the new face of Calvin Klein. Very little details are known, only that the Swedish überhunk is not going to strip down to his underwear since it'll be a perfume deal (Why Alexander? Why?). The photos were shot a couple of months ago. The campaign will be released these coming days, right on time for the premiere of True Blood's fifth season, where we can see Alexander as vampire Eric Northman.

This isn't Alexander's first fashion campaign. Two years ago the actor, 35, was the face of suitmaker Hickey Freeman. The photos for this campaign were shot by Annie Leibovitz. 


UPDATE: The campaign photo was released. Besides Alexander, we can also see supermodel Lara Stone in the shot.

A True Blood baby is on its way!

Anna Paquin is pregnant and due this fall! Her rep confirmed the happy news. Anna, 29, and husband Stephen Moyer, 42, met on the set of True Blood. Both have lead roles in the HBO tv series. Anna plays Sookie Stackhouse and Stephen vampire Bill Compton.

Anna and Stephen married in August 2010. This will be their first child together. Stephen has two children, son Billy, 12, and daughter Lilac, 10, from a previous relationship.

Sam Trammell is a dad!

Sam Trammell and his girlfriend Missy Yager have welcomed "two healthy baby boys." His rep confirmed the August 9th birth to People Magazine. The names of their sons have not been published yet.

Sam, well-known for his role as shapeshifter Sam Merlotte in True Blood, met Missy in New York, when they were both doing theatre. The couple has been together for eight years now.

In news that probably has women all around the globe fall to their knees and shout "Halleluja, I still have a chance": Alexander Skarsgard and Kate Bosworth have split up. Of course, a break up is always sad news, but according to reports the split was mutual and happened some time ago already.

The Swedish True Blood star, 34, and the actress, 28, started dating when shooting a remake of 1971's Straw Dogs in October 2009. April 2010, they were seen enjoying each other's company at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, all the while keeping mum about their relationship status.

In February 2010, Kate said about Alexander, "We are very good friends. He's a wonderful, wonderful man, I adore him." When pressed for more details, she replied, "That's a minefield, man! I'm not stepping into that. I've learned too well from being on that road."

Alexander said in a 2009 interview about finding Mrs. Right, "A sense of humour is No. 1, for sure. Being funny and smart is very important." Ladies, take notes...

Why I Look Forward to Watching Season One Of True Blood

The Husband & I were such devotees of Six Feet Under. I feel that the series finale was the high point of 50+ years of television viewing. I was so moved by the last episode that I could only barely recover emotionally. I was so disappointed that we were unable to see Alan Ball's new show, but I am finding that to rent a TV series & watch the episodes in marathon is the best way to experience them. True Blood just seems to be so original & entertaining. I am looking forward to digging in to this show & getting to know Nelsan Ellis, Ryan Kwanten & Sam Tramwell. It seems the producers & writers have found a way to get them out of their clothing quite often. The series takes place in Louisiana & I realize that it is hot & sticky there... but I have a feeling it is going to get hot & sticky at my house when we rent season one.
