This morning's mail brought the new title plate for the chapter from my memoir- Jockstraps & Vicodin: The Early Years, that covers the development of my keen & fearless fashion sense at an early age. I am pleased. This title plate really captures the era for me, including my need for apporoval for older boys' approval.

I am encouraged about the galley proofs for the chapter title plates of my memoir- Jockstraps & Vicodin: The Early Years. This one arrived yesterday. It is for my chapter on Physical Education (P.E.) classes during my school years.. This chapter includes some juicy anecdotes about hitting puberty early, shared showers, jockstraps (of course), & my chance to be a letterman from my team effort as towel boy for the soccer team when I was a freshman.

Another galley proof for a title plate of my forthcoming memoir- Jockstraps & Vicodin arrived yesterday. This chapter cover the years when I was 16 & 17. Although I no longer was struggling with my sexuality (I mean at this point I was locked in my room listening to the cast albums of Follies & Company & having boy sleepovers); I was struggling with my role... & I don't mean for the upcoming auditions for my high school production of Brigadoon.
