Last year on March 8th, Alexis Stewart welcomed her first child, daughter Jude. Now she has published that she had a son, via surrogate, that came just in time to celebrate his big sister's first birthday! Son Truman came into this world on March 7th.

Alexis, 46, struggled to become a mom for five years before welcoming Jude. Truman's grandma Martha Stewart hasn't commented yet.

It's A Good Thing... Born On This Day August 3rd

Today is the birthday of my idol Martha Stewart. I want to have my own line of clothing, books & a magazine & my own TV show- Steve Living!. I want to have a business, a fabulously successful business, that is not about business. My interior life could become my commercial life. It is the dream of every writer. Except I could be a writer without having to write. I could be my own fiction. Martha really is an entrepreneur, unlike those business-school wannabes. She is independent. No organization, except her own, could tolerate her. She is tougher than anybody else. I want to be tough & I want to be right all the time. Like Martha, in carriage & in discipline, I want the most remarkable control. Absolute discipline. On message. Within the theme of the day. Never missing a beat. I want to have a the business that is a postmodern media empire. The Martha business is the ultimate marketing strategy: using the media to promote your media. It is the mirror trick, the infinite reflection standard. Everything I do will promote everything else I do. In an age in which media could no longer stand on its own, I want have an approach that allows me to get paid for promoting myself (the dot-commers were always trying to be Martha, but they didn't understand that Martha always got paid to be Martha). This endless advertisement loop is the Martha way. I want to get paid, & be idolized as I go about my day: gym, yoga, cleaning, shopping, gardening, dog walking, masturbating, hot tubbing, & drinking cocktails. I don't have Turkey Hill, or talents for cooking, building, crafting, chickens, or maintaining dignity... but that shouldn't stop me from having a Stephen empire. My show- Steve Living! would have fabulous guests. I am good with guests. Thanks Martha, for the inspiration & for being a role model.
