Hilary Duff's first Mother's Day

Hilary Duff had her first Mother's Day last Sunday. Yesterday the actress, singer and new mom, 24, posted a photo on Twitter of herself with her pride and joy, son Luca Cruz Comrie. She tweeted, "Me and my beautiful boy! So much to be thankful for!" Hilary gave birth to her baby boy 2 months ago, on March 20th.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie's son has arrived. Hilary, 24, tweeted, "Welcome to the World Luca Cruz Comrie! Tuesday evening, we became proud parents of a healthy 7 pound 6 ounce beautiful boy." She later continued with "We are overjoyed and feel like the luckiest parents in the world." and "He is surrounded by so much love! Mom and baby are both doing extremely well."

Mike, 31, and Hilary were married on August 10th, 2010. Hilary announced the pregnancy in August.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie celebrated their first wedding anniversary this weekend and they celebrated it by sharing some special news with this rest of the world. Hilary, 23, posted on her official website that she and Mike, 30, are expecting their first child together. Her message read, "Hello everyone! This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our 1 year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favorite pictures from our wedding! I can’t believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you’re having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that…… BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years! - Hil and Mike" Later she wrote, "Wow! I am just overwhelmed by all of the wonderful messages everyone is sending! Thank you so much! Big hugs! Xxo"

Hilary and Mike married on August 10th, 2010.

Mike is a professional hockey player, he plays for the Canadian national team and used to be centre for the Edmonton Oilers - Edmonton being his hometown - he changed teams in 2010 and currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Hilary could most recently be seen in the drama film Bloodworth and she is scheduled to appear in two upcoming movies, The Story of Bonnie and Clyde and She Wants Me.
