Crazy Christian evangelist & faith healer- Rev. Cindy Jacobs claims that the recent rash of bird deaths in Arkansas & Alabama are the result of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell repeal. Apparently our Avian friends are telling the gay people to Straighten Up & Fly Right! Thanks for letting us in on the explanation, Rev. Cindy! I was very concerned.

When I go on a jag I go on a jag; it has bee the Algonquin  Round Table group, the works of Paul Theroux, Broadway Musicals that ran less then 20 performances, Hostas... I will just have to read, experience or ownn everything I can get my hands on with a certain subject. Yes indeed, during the Joel Grey phase I did own this album. Really. & he had his shirt off! Check out this cover of the Cream song. I need to put it on a custom mix with Liza Minnelli doing Black Hole Sun, Jack Jones doing Every Breath You Take, Madonna doing American Pie, & Mae West doing Great Balls Of Fire.

Crazy Love

On Saturday night we went out with our friend Syslee to a neighborhood club- The World Famous Kenton Club- Dining, Dancing, Entertainment. We had a swell time having cocktails & listening to live music. I am almost certain that we were the only homos on the premises, although a couple of guys caught my eye & they seem to look right back. What I did note was, as the Husband returned to our table with round 3 of whiskey-gingers, how the man I have spent ½ my life with, still has the power to make my stomach flip flop & my heart miss a beat. When he was in his 20s, he seemed almost “pretty” & it was disarming & off-putting. He is actually a very masculine guy, & he grew into his 50s looking especially handsome with his full head of silver hair & his 29 inch waist, tan & fit…the very definition of Silver Fox. The Husband is a very talented artist & designer. I admire his talent & his good looks. But... everyone that knows him realizes that he is just a little nutty. I think you can’t be that handsome & that talented, & survive life without being eccentric & marching to a different drummer. With this in mind, I put together a playlist dedicated just to him. When it was presented I thought- “hmmm… he may think this is fun, or it could go terrible wrong":
