25 years ago,Frankie Goes To Hollywood was the #1 act in the world, with the #1 single, the often banned from radio- Relax. Soon after, internal problems with the various members meant the end of the band, as lead singer/lyricist Holly Johnson & Paul Rutherford left the group. Johnson then discovered that he was HIV positive, & thinking he had a short time to live, wote his autobiobraphy- A Bone In My Flute. Johnson is still with us, thank you God. He realized a life long dream of going to art school & he has become a much exhibited painter. Next week is the release of Frankie Says Greatest & I can't wait. I think I will buy it as a CD, instead of a download, because it has the best cover of the year.

I loved The Fine Young Cannibals in the late 1980s, & I am still zany for Roland Gift's voice. This song got a lot of play on the Husband & my stereo. Their album The Raw & The Cooked was one of the first albums that I bought on this crazy new format-the CD.
