Y! Rocks concert to be staged on December 8

In support of the Original Pilipino Music, Yahoo! Philippines OMG! is pushing through a big concert event this December 8, 2011 at the SM Mall of Asia. But Yahoo! is letting you choose who you want to be in the concert. Head over to http://ph.omg.yahoo.com/yrocks/  to vote for the acts you are most eager to watch. The top 15 bands who will be chosen by Yahoo! users will be the ones who will be performing.

The choices include Parokya ni Edgar, Franco, Gloc 9, Archipelago, Wolfgang, Karl Roy, Urbandub, Wilabaliw, The Dawn, Hijo, Ang Bandang Shirley, Pedicab, The Jerks, Pupil, Taken By Cars, Paramita, Stonefree, Razorback, True Faith, Sandwich, Callalily, 6cyclemind, Tanya Markova, Not So Fast, SinoSikat, General Luna, Someday Dream, Mobbstarr, Badburn, and Hilera.

The concert will also have its Cebu (SM Cebu) and Davao (SM Davao) legs.

If you are going to watch the concert, please bear in mind that the following items are prohibited inside the concert venue: big posters/banners/placards/signages; laser pens and posters; weapons and/or any sharp objects; candles, fireworks and/or any kind of pyrotechnics; lass/pet bottles, cans, hard plastic containers, etc; llegal drugs; large chains, spiked bracelets, wallet chains, large metal belt buckles; foood (Snacks and drinks can be purchased within the concert venue); and chairs (any type). Pregnant women, kids below 4 feet in height and people with disabilities are likewise not allowed to enter.
