Victoria Beckham designs a white, crocodile leather handbag for Selfridges

Victoria Beckham's handbag for Selfridges
A real Victoria Beckham handbag is in everyone's reach now. Victoria has designed a white, crocodile leather handbag for Selfridges. It is thought that it will be one of the hottest items for Christmas. However, that it's in reach, doesn't mean that it's affordable. The Daily Mail reports that the bag still costs a whopping £8,995.

Victoria's new design will most definitely not please PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). The organisation have criticised Victoria's use of exotic skins in her products before. PETA has recently approached Victoria about the use of reptile skins in her own handbag collections. Spokesperson David W. Perle said, "We appreciate Ms. Beckham's rejection of fur and have approached her - 100 per cent respectfully - over the suffering of lizards and other reptiles who are often skinned alive for fashion." However, the singer-turned-fasion designer still has used crocodile leather for her Selfridges design, and Selfridges proudly presented the back today in its Oxford Street store in London.
