Justin Bieber Stabbed? Facebook Scam Spreads Again

Justin Bieber Stabbed?
Justin Bieber was stabbed by a crazed fan outside a nightclub, according to a viral "wall post" that is circulating on Facebook again.

Not only that it is just a hoax, it is a scam as well. It has spread on the social networking site late last year.

What makes it a scam is that there was no stabbing incident that happened. If there was, it should have been reported in trusted international news sites.

Additionally, if a Facebook user will make a mistake on clicking the link, he will be transported to a webpage that appears to contain a Youtube video of the alleged "Justin Bieber stabbing incident." But before the video can be viewed, the user will be asked to share the link on his wall or timeline. After the share, the user has to take a survey before he can access the video. There will be no real video of the incident because it did not happen. The scammers are only using the claim that Justin Bieber was stabbed to earn commission from the money making surveys.

The versions of the Facebook scam are as follows:
  • Justin Bieber STABBED By CRAZED Fan Outside L.A. NightClub!
OMG! NOOOO! Could YOU Even Imagine?!?
  • Justin Bieber STABBED By CRAZED Fan Outside N.Y.C. NightClub!
Cant believe it happened extremely painful
If you have been victimized by it, it is advisable that you delete the post from your timeline so that your friends will not see it and to prevent it from spreading.
