Katrina Jayne Dimaranan named Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2012

Katrina Jayne Dimaranan has been crowned the Binibining Pilipinas Tourism 2012 during the Bb. Pilipinas 2012 coronation night held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on Sunday, April 15. She also won the Best in Talent award.

Dimaran, 18, hails from San Juan, Metro Manila and is a fresh high school graduate. Giver her life experiences which allowed her to relate to different kinds of people, she believes that BS Psychology is a perfect course for her to take in college. She recalls attending a total of 13 schools and experiencing being homeless for a while, to the point of sleeping in a terminal bathroom with her siblings. Despite her challenging experiences, Katrina maintains a positive outlook in life. She loves to sing and joined the pageant to be an inspiration to people and to prove that despite all odds “all will turn out all right.”
