October Song... Moondance

I am entranced by the moon & always have been. I note the cycles of the moon & because I am up at 4am I have seen views of that orb. My favorite is the one I call The Cheshire Cat Moon, just a cock-eyed sliver of a moon that looks like a sly smile. I find it hard to resist the full moon in October.

Frequent readers will not that my musical tastes are vare varied & inclusive looking at the the Ms today brought me to: George Michael, Madonna, Joni Mitchell, Massive Attack, M.I.A, Morrisey, Modest Mouse, Moby, Morcheeba, My Morning Jacket, My Chemical Romance, Keb' Mo, Liza Minnelli, Bette Midler, Johnny Mathis & Van Morrison. My largest sections go to Tony Bennett, Elvis Costello & Van Morrison, with 25+ albums each.

Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies

& all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
& I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart strings that play soft & low

& all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush
& all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love?

Well, I wanna make love to you tonight
I can't wait 'til the morning has come
& I know now the time is just right
& straight in to my arms you will run

& when you come, my heart will be waiting
To make sure that you're never alone
There & then, all my dreams will come true, dear
There & then, I will make you my own

& every time I touch you, you just tremble inside
& I know how much you want me that you can't hide
Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love?

Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance
With the stars up above in your eyes
A fantabulous night to make romance
'Neath the cover of October skies

& all the leaves on the trees are falling
To the sound of the breezes that blow
& I'm trying to please to the calling
Of your heart strings that play soft & low

& all the nights magic seems to whisper and hush
& all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush
Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love?
Can I just make some more romance with you, my love?

One more moon dance with you
In the moon light, on a magic night
All the moon light, on a magic night
Can I just have one more moondance with you, my love?
