A German carrier has confirmed  the rumored September release date for the iPhone 5.

Mobilecom Debitel announced today that the next generation iPhone is arriving next month.

"In September it's finally happening. A new generation of smartphone will be entering the market. Mobilcom-debtel will inform you for free by e-mail about all interesting subjects concerning this phone," the carrier said on its website.

Rumor has it that iPhone 5 is set to be launched at an Apple event on September 12th and will be released nine days after on September 21st.

iPhone 5 is expected to sport  a thinner body, a larger screen, stronger Siri function and major changes in the design for connection wire and connector, which will stimulate procurement by consumers.
