Together with their mentors, they were then asked to be on stage again for the results. Host KC Concepcion then announced the following acts as safe: Joan Da, KZ Tandingan, Kedebon Colim, Jeric Medina, Daddy's Home, Modesto Taran, Allen Jane Sta. Maria, Gabriel Maturan, and A.k.a Jam. Surprisingly, Take Off of the Groups category and Mark Mabasa of the Over 25's found themselves in the bottom two.
When the show returned after the commercial break, judge Pilita Corales then introduced Mark Mabasa. The 26-year-old singer from Las Pinas did a heartfelt performance of James Ingram's "There's No Easy Way To Break Somebody's Heart."
When it was Take Off's turn, the band did a moving rendition of Secondhand Serenade's "Fall For You."
Both performances were so impressive that the judges took the result to deadlock after the sing-off, with Ms. Pilita Corales and Martin Nievera voting against Take Off and Gary V. and Charice versus Mark Mabasa.
The results of the public voting was then revealed to determine who will be going home. As it turned out, Mark Mabasa received the lowest number of votes from the viewers and was sent home.
